Move slowly, and fix things*

13 August 2022 - Another scorcher, but the volunteer repair team remain focussed on fixing.

"We considered cancelling today's event - it's peak holiday season and very hot again, we thought perhaps people wouldn't bring their repairs in - but we needn't have worried," shared co-organiser Gwen, "we've had another satisfying morning fixing things, staying cool and not rushing around."

Today's diverse list included: CD player, pram, lamps, laptop, mixers, bag handles, kettle, fans, electric blanket (thinking ahead!), necklaces, and a record player from the 1960s.

If you've got something you would like us to try and fix, or show you how to use, then check out the info on the About Us page.

* ... Facebook's original motto, used until 2014 was "Move fast and break things". That's not how we do things!

Buy less, choose well, make it last.
